Following a New Year’s Eve party fire, our client was faced with a decision on what to do with a student housing building in West Chester.
It was grandfathered as a rooming house that carried with it density and parking benefits. We were able to rebuild the side-by-side fire damaged buildings to comply with the ordinances and maintain the designation as a rooming house and add units resulting in increased revenue to our client.
